In games against people and in rated puzzles, every move must be your own. That means:
Against the bots and in the daily puzzle, use whatever helps you learn. If we find unfair play, we may cancel the games, reset ratings or close the account.
Finished games are public, so by playing you let us store them and show them on the site, with your username. The privacy page says what else we store and how to have it deleted.

Linebook is free and provided as it is. It started as a university project and is still being built: pages can break, the site can be down, and while it is young we may reset ratings or clear data, which we will try to announce first. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using the site or from it being unavailable.
You can stop using the site whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and important changes will be announced on the site first. Questions go to support@forkandknight.com.
